Mark Foster and the rest of Foster the People brought the “Sacred Hearts Club” Tour to The Fillmore Philly last night for and engaging evening. The band is on tour to support their most recent album “Sacred Hearts Club” which was released worldwide on July 21st through Columbia Records. The album which features three singles “Doing it For the Money”, “Pay the Man” and “SHC” features more of a 60’s style sound and has a psychedelic edginess. The frontman Foster commands the stage with great enthusiasm and switching between just vocals, guitar and vocals, and keyboard. The band played for an hour and 45 minutes including 19 songs with each of their hits mixed in the the latest album’s songs. The light display throughout is expertly engineered with ever changing colors, designs, lasers and strobes. The Sacred Hearts Club tour is a must see at any venue near you.
