Front Row Perspective Looking to Road Trip to Quebec!

Festival d’été de Québec 2018
Less than three months until Festival D’ete De Quebec takes over the city for eleven action packed days of music. The festival which has been around for over 50 years, has a HUGE line up planned for 2018 including; The Weeknd, Neil Young, Future, Camila Cabello, Shawn Mendes, Greta Van Fleet, Foo Fighters, Patrice Michaud, Tory Lanez, The Chainsmokers, Phoenix, Beck, Cyndi Lauper, Lorde, Silverstein, Bullet for My Valentine, Avenged Sevenfold, Sturgill Simpson, Dave Matthews Band, and this is just on the Bell Stage!!!!!
Front Row Perspective is very happy to have a veteran of the festival, Bob Linneman applying to cover it this year for the site. This one of a kind festival takes over the entire city of Quebec and is celebrated with the eight separate locations scattered throughout the city, both indoors and outdoors (many free). A great benefit is the price, for one single GA admission price of $100US (early bird) you can attend all 11 nights at any stage! One of my favorite stages is the Hyrdo-Quebec Stage at Place D’Youville which is in the heart of Old Quebec in front of the historic fortifications and Saint-Jean’s Gate.
During the day you can take in the culture of the city or day trips to the surrounding areas. Wandering the city streets, you can watch street performers who entertain both old and young, then have lunch at one of the many cafés located on cobblestone streets, or explore outside the city and visit a winery, or the world class aquarium.
This is a music lover’s paradise as each day is repeated again, and again, day after day, as the festival is 11 days long! Festival D’ete De Quebec is hands down one of the best and we look forward to returning there this July!
Here are some of Bob’s shot from last year’s show which featured; P!nk, The Who, Metallica, Nick Jonas, Lady Antebellum, Fetty Wap, Flume, and The Struts, Gabrielle Shonk, and many more.
