Phoenixville residents and those traveling from other areas were in for a treat Thursday evening as one of the greatest guitarists in the history of Rock n Roll took the stage at The Colonial Theatre. Robby Krieger, best known as lead guitarist of The Doors also wrote several of the band’s greatest hits including their biggest “Light My Fire”. With a full band and his son Waylon on vocals they performed hit after hit of The Doors catalog with Robby shredding the guitar notes and occasionally breaking out into a guitar solo. There were several ovations throughout the evening as the 71 year old brought everyone to their feet with electric sounds. Anyone who attended, witnessed something they may never get to see again.
