PHNTMS
I’ve been a fan of PHNTMS since when I caught them opening for Kings of Leon, The 1975, and Bastille at a music festival. I was blown away by their high energy performance!!! I was lucky enough to recently catch them (before the virus lockdown) at The Foundry located in The Fillmore – Philadelphia. The band is like a musical carpet ride, touching down lightly on different music styling while looking back with a Cheshire grin.

PHNTMS is releasing a new single, “BACK BURNER” from their forthcoming self-titled EP today. The single is incredible, and easily one of their best songs yet. I literally listened to it ten times straight just to take it all in. BACK BURNER is a wake-up call to today’s music.
Alyssa Gambino of PHNTMS
Featuring the massive vocals of Alyssa Gambino, which is strong yet soulful and full of emotion throughout the entire track. Surrounding Alyssa is Adam Jessamine on lead guitar, Mikal Smith on rhythm guitar, and Gene Murphy on drums. The finished product is a mixture of ethereal pop, with great story telling, and masterful musicianship. Following a rough week, this was just what I needed and I cannot wait to blast it loud!!
