The Cadillac Three – TLA – Philadelphia – 11.08.18

The Cadillac Three brought their “No Sleep Till London” tour to Philly for some much needed Country Rock.  TC3 includes singer-guitarist Jaren Johnston, lap-steel player Kelby Ray and drummer Neil Mason. Opening to a cut of The Beastie Boys, “No Sleep Till Brooklyn”, Singer Jaren Johnston walked on the stage with his signature look of Ray-Ban sunglasses and Redman Chew trucker hat with Red Solo cup in hand.  This band is LOUD, for just three players they cover a lot of territory.  Behind Jaren, Kelby can make his lap steel sound like just about any instrument, and Neil destroys his drum kit when not grinning from ear to ear.  A true front man, Jaren has the voice, the guitar skills and swagger to own the stage.  TC3 has always had a loyal following in Philly, and you could tell the crowd was in the mood for some Southern Rock.  This band really connects with the fans, at one-point Jaren went into the crowd and decided to play while mugging for selfies with the fans.  This is my kind of country.

Touring behind their recent release called The Legacy, only a few more weeks here in the States before jumping over to Europe for the remainder of the year.   You can join the band’s mailing list and be entered for a chance to win an autographed guitar!!!
