The Last Summer on Earth Tour created a 90’s hits sing along in the rolling hills of Fairmount Park.
Kicking off the night was the multi-talented, KT Tunstall followed by veterans recording artists, Better Than Ezra. Both acts worked the crowd well and laid the groundwork for Canadian Hall of Famers, Bare Naked Ladies who took the stage to a standing ovation. BNL, with 16 albums in their catalog had many songs to choose from to fill the night, and they did not disappoint with classic, new, and covers. Vocalist/guitarist Ed Robertson kicked off the set with “Odds Are,” “Duct Tape My Heart” and crowd favorite “Pinch Me.” The band was having as much fun on stage as was the entire crowd. Ending the first set, BNL brought KT Tunstall back out to perform on “Brian Wilson”. They mixed it up with traditional performances and an acoustic set, including the crowd favorites “If I Had $1000000”, and an awesome cover of Queen’s “Another One Bites the Dust”, “Did I Say That Out Loud?” and “Light Up My Room”. The tour continues through July in the United States.
