The Struts pretty much stole the show at Saturday’s Radio 104.5 Winter Jawn held at Xfinity Live in Philadelphia. The lineup featured bands AJR, J. Roddy Walston and the Business, The Struts and headliner Dashboard Confessional.
The Struts fronted by singer Luke Spiller have sort of taken over the current modern rock movement in the last two years. Voted best new rock band of 2017 the band ended up on 16 month US Tour before breaking to write material for the new album expected this Spring.
The Struts played 40 minutes in front of roughly 11,000 fans that packed the courtyard at Xfinity Live all the way from the front of the main stage, to the New discovery stage. It was really a site to be seen. Spiller has complete control of the stage from start to finish and had full cooperation whether it be having everyone sit at one point, to hands in the air or singing along. Everyone loves Luke Spiller and therefore everyone loves The Struts!
